O2 has been shortlisted for the Technology Products Awards 2019
We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in two prestigious award categories in the Computing Technology Product Awards 2019.
Rotageek, one of Telefónica’s incubated start-ups, is nominated in the Best Business Mobile Solution category, whilst our own O2 Cyber Threats is nominated for Best SME Security Product. We wish both the teams involved the very best of luck on the night of the award ceremony in London on the 29 November.
The Computing Technology Product Awards aim to recognise the very best of the UK’s technology industry, from the most innovative and compelling products and vendors, through to the top use cases from end-user firms.
Our Workforce Scheduling application is powered by Rotageek which is one of the companies incubated by Wayra (Telefónica’s start up accelerator). It helps businesses to predict and meet demand using data-driven technology to schedule staff effectively and fairly. It relies on personalised algorithms and machine learning to identify patterns that would otherwise go unnoticed, providing best-in-class business forecasting and workforce management. It’s helping some of our largest business customers make significant savings on shift worker staffing by matching scheduling to meet customer demand whilst helping to improve work-life balance for shift workers.
At O2 we are proud to use Rotageek ourselves. The scheduling application helped deliver significant scheduling efficiencies across 267 of our company owned stores in less than a year. Using Rotageek, we can predict the number of staff required at any time in our retail stores to meet demand and delight our customers.
O2 Cyber Threats provides in-depth cyber threat intelligence to SMEs who might ordinarily think it’s too expensive. It’s a modular service that we’ve developed specifically for SMEs, so that businesses can choose a security package with expert analyst support that addresses their individual requirements and budget.
We provide intelligence of information and credentials that have been leaked online so you take action to remove it quickly.
If you need help to address all your potential security gaps then we can help. We have more than 16 years of global security expertise and a comprehensive suite of security solutions and services to help you address all four critical gaps.
The winners of all the awards will be announced at the Computing Technology Product Awards ceremony in London, on Friday 29 November. You can find out more about the awards, and all the shortlisted entries here.
