First to launch at MWC: Samsung Galaxy S7

The Mobile World Congress is one of the most eagerly anticipated dates in the technology calendar and one of the biggest announcements from Barcelona this year is the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The video above will give you a first look at the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S7 but in the meantime here are the key features.

At first glance, it’s clear the Samsung Galaxy S7 is a high-end, business-ready smartphone. Carrying forward the premium design of the S6, this time round Samsung has added water resistance, expandable memory and improved battery life.

Its sleek, glass front and back, elegant, robust metal frame and ‘Goldilocks’ size make it a natural fit in a pocket, hand, briefcase or bag. And IP68 water and dust resistance means the Galaxy S7 is able to withstand the elements unscathed.

  • A 5.1-inch screen with quad HD resolution and bright, vibrant Super AMOLED technology
  • The latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system
  • A 12-megapixel Dual Pixel low-light camera
  • MicroSD card support means expandable storage of up to 200GB – room for 200,000 1MB PowerPoint files
  • A lightning fast processor – great for multitasking
  • Fast wireless charging and a long-lasting 3000mAh battery
  • You can also easily add business apps from O2 like Office 365, Box cloud storage, McAfee Multi Access and O2 Just Call Me

It’s got the biggest battery of any Galaxy phone so far and with an IP68 rating, it’s water and dustproof, perfect for any business that carries on working whatever the weather.
