O2 Business LBC Radio show launches
Following the success of our O2Business Show last year, we’re pleased to announce its return tonight at 9pm with our brand new hosts. Clive Bull, renowned journalist and broadcaster, will join entrepreneur Emma Jones MBE for a weekly slot for the next six weeks to discuss a range of topics including marketing a business, ways of working smarter, best practice around crowdfunding, social media and SEO.
For our first episode, Clive and Emma will explore the essential bread and butter of all businesses: marketing. Our hosts will be joined by Rob Forkan, from Gandys flipflops. It’s likely you’ll have heard of the inspiring sustainable business and foundation that Rob set up with his brother Paul, after losing both of their parents in 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami whilst their family were travelling. It’s more than a business selling stylish flip flops, with the brothers also changing the lives of other orphans by working to provide nutrition, shelter and education in India and Sri Lanka, hoping to take their mission worldwide. Rob will be joined by Leon Rudd, Head of SMB Marketing at O2.
Once you have created an offering or service, the hard work begins in raising awareness for your brand, crafting an image, messaging and spreading word. Technology has, to an extent leveled the playing field, making it much easier to spread the gospel of your business on a small budget – we’ll look at the tools and apps that are helping startups effectively cut through the noise; plus we’ll have special tips from our O2 Guru Davina.
Tune in tonight at 9pm on LBC 97.3 FM or listen online: http://promo.lbc.co.uk/o2/
